Besides junior and college scholarship offerings, the Southwest Tennis Foundation also helps fund programs with an innovative or capacity-building approach to tennis. The Foundation also helps assist in volunteer development through training and educational opportunities for USTA Southwest volunteers who have demonstrated time commitment/effort for the Section. These funds are limited, but they can still help defray expenses.
Funds are also available to tennis organizers and organizations for educational/traning purposes, and in other areas such as development of special needs programs to help cultivate new tennis programming and awareness of the sport in our local communities.
Interested applicants may apply to the Foundation via a PROGRAM/ACTIVITY FUNDING REQUEST FORM.
ADULT ACTIVITY GRANT
Funds are available for adult USTA volunteers seeking educational and training opportunities to help further their skills to help the organization. These include travel expenses to meetings, workshops and seminars with an emphasis and focus on volunteer development.
Interested applicants may apply to the Foundation via an ADULT FUNDING REQUEST FORM
