Southwest Section Adult & Senior Tournaments
Standings and Rankings
Tournaments are held throughout each year across the USTA Southwest in both age divisions and NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program) divisions. Consult the TENNISLINK schedule to find the events taking place each month and where they are located. If you're looking for play opportunities and the chance to get out and meet new people, tournaments are a great way to do that.
Rankings are updated periodically, so click here to get your current 2009 standing in your respective division. Always consult TENNISLINK, as it will have the most recently updated ranking.
Requirements for a USTA Southwest Ranking
The only eligibility requirement for inclusion in the USTA Southwest rankings are to play:
---One Level I tournament plus two other tournaments (for a minimum of three)
OR
---Two Level II Tournaments plus one other may be substituted
*Final rankings will be based on the best five tournaments played during the calendar year within the USTA Southwest.

*plus all National Age group championships played within the USTA Southwest

Notice Regarding Move Down Points: Points can only be awarded if the player already has results in his/hers natural age division. Otherwise, points will be awarded in the age division played.
Standings Lists
The standings list shows tournament results year-to-date, and are based on a player’s best 5 tournament results. Standings lists are updated the middle of each month. The standings list is different from the Ranking lists in that the Tentative and Final Rankings lists include required tournaments for rankings. |
